What are Amanita(s) fly? Are they poisonous mushrooms? And why did I get two instead of the nice yellow mushrooms I used to get. What uses do they have? If I eat one will I die?

That's why I asked if they are poisonous. Didn't want to eat one and find out why it's dangerous. Wink But I do want to know what use they have.

Quote :
Except that Amanita are not edible, and therefore perfectly useless, the church also issued an injunction against the sale and use of Amanita, witchcraft trials and attempted poisoning for indélicats.

This is quoted from le Pape, Adéodat III

Well, I have the option to eat it.. I'm thinking it's poisonous. I suppose it's not useful now.. but maybe later on when I have an unwanted husband it could come in useful?

No! Wolfkid! You broke it! Smile

I ate two of them, and so far no ill effects. I just hope we're warned before they do become poisonous.

I think they mean Fly Agaric, very poisonous mushroom in real life.
Good to know they don't hurt here, or I would not have eaten them Shocked (Am collecting mushrooms for the first time now).
