Special traits for characters

Hi,

Talking with Acc we came with an idea that may make the game more interesting and give more realism to the IG economy. In that kind of games there is a moment when the economy gets paralyzed because everywhere anyone can produce everything. What we would like to suggest is to introduce the concpet of comparative advantadge to the IG.

We propose to do so by introducing the fact that when a new character is created a random bonus is given to him, for example a +5% bonus in wood cuting or a +5% efectiveness in combat. This will help to encourage people to take different career paths in their lifes and will give more diversity to the game.

What do you think?

I guess it's a great idea, but i prefer we can learn that skill rather than just to give it randomly, cause new player don't have any idea what is the game about at the first glance. And of course the job provide in the game need to be more vary and complex.

The job can be feature like an upgrade for example:
Woodcutter - Carpenter - Craftsman

We have to work as woodcutter for several time before we can become carpenter.

This would be a bonus, everyone would have to learn everything but each character would have an advantage in one characteristic
