But what are the benefits ? (if there are none atm, what are they expected to be?)

I also recall reading somewhere that when you finish your house you can build an even bigger one (x2 materials?), someone confirm please

Paul put it into place You need doors, windows etc to get a house. Rifilias has made a house. Feel free to "bug" him and get the info you need to make one. He is also a carpenter too

does any carpenters have one more Planche de bois/plank of wood that i can buy? I have everything bar one plank to build me a house!

Is there a final stage for house bulding ? If so, when you get there you can leave items in it ? For example if you have a basket but you want to go pick mushrooms without it so you can receive dexterity point, it might be an option to leave it home if you don't want to sell it.

I think the final stage for a house is manor, but I'm not sure of that.

You need to have your house to be a manor to go to lvl 5
