| The list of objects in game now shows there is 0 increase in stats for any meal not prepared by a butcher. Can anyone confirm they still receive points when consuming a fish, pheasant or grapes? If this is indeed the case, we need some butchers, pronto. | |

| That will be hard for everyone still needing stat points to level up, until we get a butcher. | |

| yes but this means that all those that leveled up to level 2 cannot be butchers because we don't have the food to get the stats. I will take a look at the level 3's and see who among them is a butcher..I hope we have one. I will also petition the game admin to give us back our stat food! | |

| I was beginning to study to be a butcher until I realised you can get the stats easily enough without them, so I switched to studying carpentry. However, if the need arises I can switch back to butcher and finish studying that. | |

| Yes, I'm a wine-maker and tried to study to become a butcher. Apparently once we get a job, we can't change it. | |

Depends. Hunting still gives you skill points, and also butchers need to obtain the pheasants in order to prepare food. So you can always hunt and sell what you produce to a butcher.

| Major suckage! So basically I can't advance at all, despite having been TOLD that I was supposed to be eating pheasant to get those thought points. So I've wasted time hunting, wasted 150p on a rifle, and I can't get any thought points because there is nothing on the market except "leafs of bread" (pretty sure they mean LOAVES of bread). Last time I checked the so-called "guide" it was virtually empty, but when I checked it again just now it says: IV.3. Thought The thought is useful from level 1 and above. It can be obtained from the phaisants hunted in the forest and the meals elaborated by the butchers with those as components. This makes it sound like it's an either-or proposition, eg that you can gain thought points (again I'm assuming they actually mean intelligence) by either eating pheasants you caught in the forest, or by buying some mysterious product from a butcher. Very annoyed here. | |

| Your not the only one upset Sojo.
I am doing up a letter atm with info for the towns people. Town council was going to help the wine makers etc level up to level 4 but all our Grapes, our fishing rods and the wood we had is all gone. We have Ziltch...
Sigh..we need to know who is a butcher and get this product to them it it means selling to TH and getting contract then we will do that. We want all our citizens to level up.

Very annoyed here. The guide is made merely as information for new player and the information comes from other player's past experience. Due to some change made by admin. There're some information not correct anymore. I know that it's annoying but just take it easy. You can work as guard or hunt as money is important here. So when the butcher start to post the goods, you can immediately buy it. k.

| It's not ok. Given that the "guide" is only a couple of weeks old at best (in it's current incarnation at least) for the info in it to be incorrect is unacceptable.
Furthermore, I did EXACTLY as I was told to do, eg put out the 150p for the rifle, went hunting, got my 6 (now 7) pheasants and started eating them, only to find out that the rules were changed with no advance warning or notification.
Given that I've wasted a week's worth of time hunting to no purpose, 150p on the rifle, and lost wages in an amount somewhere between 70 and 168p, telling me to go earn money while I wait for products to appear on market to make up for changes that were clearly made before the structure was in place to support those changes is little short of ludicrous. I wouldn't NEED to "go earn money" if I hadn't wasted significant amounts of money and time doing what I was TOLD to do in order to advance my character, with (now) no possibility of doing anything but marking time for some unknown but undoubtedly lengthy period of time.
These "changes" need to be rescinded until the infrastructure exists to support them, eg until there are actually working butchers and products on market to replace the use of pheasant to get stats.
Furthermore when such sweeping changes are made, people should be notified SEVERAL DAYS IN ADVANCE that these changes are coming, and when, so that we can be prepared and not after the fact when we're already screwed over.
