Makin links short

I have noticed that when many folk are putting links in their posts, they often make them say "Here" or something similar rather than the whole URL. How is this done? It seems much easier to do once you know how, I just can't work out how. Tips please?

There is a tool in the 5th group of buttons that does it for you. It is labeled "Link"

The format is "[ url=http://url]URL Text[/url ]", just remove the spaces I placed in so you could see it
