PostSubject: Re: The Great Hall   The Great Hall - Page 3 EmptyTue Mar 03, 2009 10:47 am

The queen looked at the two men. So that was why they were here; to gain titles. Of course, if what they said was true, of course they should be recognized. She looked in the eyes of the man that had spoken;

If you are who you claim to be, you have the right to recognized, of course. But… Every one could come here and claim to be of noble birth, do you have proofs?

Sovereign of Albion, those documents that my brother present to you are the evidences of our condition, they are solid proof of our ancient lineage. First of all you can examinate a Royal Order of King Sancho VII of Navarra, this Royal Order gives to our distant ancestor Alvar du Almaric, also called "Altuna", the condition of knight as a rocognition of his bravery in the battle against the moors. The next document is the last will of Mikhail Altuna de Haza, this will lists the posesions of our familly in both High and Low Navarra and sets the division of those in the main domains that our family holds in those lands, Corella and Iciz. If your Majesty wishes to continue to examinate the documents it's nwo the turn of the Letter of Privilege that the King Phillip the second gave to our beloved father Ignazio de Altuna, he apointed him Duke of Medina las Torres and made him a second rank Grande.

The title of Marquis of Huarte entered in our family as dowry of Leticia Huarte, when she married Alfonso Altuna, the first Altuna to recieve this treatment was Iñigo de Altuna, born in 1527.

I hope that every one of those proofs will please Your Highest Grace

PostSubject: Re: The Great Hall   The Great Hall - Page 3 EmptyWed Mar 04, 2009 8:22 am

The Queen looked at the documents and examined them. She wasn't sure about the authenticity, but then again she knew little about those things. She made a sign towards her personal herald. He bowed and she gave him the papers to study them a bit. In the meanwhile she looked at the other brother, Oduan, who tried to explain her some things. After a while the herald returned her the papers and whispered silently in her ear; They look real Your Gracious Majesty.
The Queen nodded and gave back the documents to Acc, She fold her hands and looked at Oduan with a playful smile.

There are two possibilities here, Spaniard. You can be a very good liar or these documents are true and authentic.

Luckily for you my herald seems to believe you... I recognize you as sons of your father and therefore you shall be permitted to carry the titles that belong to you.

The Altunas vowed to the Most Gracious Majesty

Your Higness, no other thing than grandeur can come from the reign of a Queen that has not only been blessed with beauty but also with wisdom. Now we hope that your Majesty will make us the mercy to command us to serve her.

For a second seemed that Oduan was going to ask permission to leave but he raised his head a little and directed his sight to Her Royal Highness eyes.

My Queen, before asking permision to leave, ¿may I ask you a final mercy?

The Queen kept looking at Oduan, not knowing what to say. Was this the wish of Catherine or her brother's? Eventually she figured out that Oduan should probably a good match for the young girl.

If that is the wish of Catherine herself, you have my permission.

A broad smile appeared on the face of the young spaniard. He bowed again.

Your Highness makes me a great mercy, if that's the wish of Lady Catherine nothing will make me happier than tie my destiny to her's.

And know Your Majesty, do you have any command for us or should we retire?

PostSubject: Re: The Great Hall   The Great Hall - Page 3 EmptyThu Mar 05, 2009 12:14 pm

You're right, Exclaimed Ximena.

All people of the great hall became very shocked. A young girl entered for the door. She was 14 years old, no more, But her appearance showed that more years had. She had dark hair. A brown skin due to the strong sun of Spain. His fatness showed their good habits, the habit of eating well, mostly. She came accompanied by his personal guard.

Oduan and Acc3p7 are telling the truth. After say this, Ximena bent down her head as a sign of respect for the queen. Majesty, may you ask who I'm and why I say this.

I'm Ximena, the daughter of the late King Philip IV, King of Crown of Aragon and Kingdom of Castile, Naples, Sicily and Sardinia, Duke of Milan, and a long etc. God save him.
My father, may he rest in peace, died recently. However, remember these two men at the Palace of Madrid. His father, Ignacio Altuna, fought for the Crown of Aragon and served with loyalty to my father, Philip IV. The King of Aragon, then, recognized the work of Don Ignacio Altuna giving titles and fiefdoms: Duque de Medina de las torres, Vizconde de Isiz, Vizconde de Corella, Marqués de Huarte snf Señor de Urraul.

I found in London because in the Crown of Aragon I was in danger. There are people who want to end my life and seizing the throne and to corrupt our monarchy. In Spain there is a regent who governs in the name of the Spanish monarchy. I'm still young, but when it's time I will be calling me to take care of the Crown.

On behalf of my homeland, HM Queen of England, will show my respect and I hope that our countries have a friendly relationship.

And she was silent.

The Queen stood up when suddenly a young girl came in, without being introduced by a herald. Directly, a group of the Queen's Guard ran in and stood between the Queen and the intruder, some of them pointing with their swords and halberds towards the child. Her Majesty walked towards her, ignoring the chocked expressions on the faces of those who were present. Then, when she had passed some of the Royal Guards, she stood still before the young girl. You could see clearly that the Queen was mad by this act of non-respect.

Who are you to think that you can enter the palace without passing the gates and without having the permission of me, her Royal Majesty? Who are you to think that you can come and stand before my throne without bowing? And who are you in god's name to talk before I have given you permission?!

HRP : Please pass the gates first before coming here...

Elise entered the great hall, accompanied by her nurse maid of course. She looks at the floor while entering; it looked just like a very big mirror.
The herald steps forward and announces her arrival.

Her Highness Elizabeth Howard, Princess of England and Baroness Mowbray.

Elise looks up to the herald, he looked funny she thought, with a funny head like in a circus. She smiles only thinking of it.

When she looks into the hall she is surprised to see a lot of guards standing around a girl, pointing their weapons on her and she recognises her sister who looked very mad, had the girl been naughty? Her sister looked like she could blow every moment.
Should she wait until they were done speaking or could she go to her sister? She decides to go to her sister and hopes nobody would get mad at her for not waiting but she hadn't seen her for so long.
She walks towards her sister and makes a little bow for her as she had learned. She had practised on it so she would make a good impression on her sister so she could be proud of her.
But now she was standing there and she didn't knew what to say, all those people who looked mad and all that weapons made her feel insure

The Queen was still looking severely and madly at the girl, surrounded by the Guards, when suddenly a herald enter. What now?, she whispered, rolling her eyes. Wasn't it clear that she was in the middle of something right now? She looked at the herald and listened to him.

Elizabeth? Her little sister? Finally she was here. She walked by the Guards and bowed to be at the same hight of Elizabeth. She smiled and gave her a kiss on her cheek. Then she picked her up in her arms and noticed how much she had grown those last months. Then she turned back to the other young girl that seemed to have sneaked into the Palace and the group of guards.

Just... Just escort her outside the Palace. Do not harm her.

She turned around and walked back to her throne, then she sat down with Elizabeth still in her arms.

And how have you been?

The young heiress to the Spanish throne was surprised when he observed the hostility of British monarchs. Queen's guards with arms threatened to Ximena. However, the Spanish soldiers, soldiers of Ximena, creating the protected circle around her.

Who I'm to enter without permission, without the permission of her royal majesty?

She paused, nobody had said anything to her that the Queen of England was deaf.

Excuse me, Majesty, but I'm the Big Ximena I, heiress to the Spanish throne. Maybe my ways are not the most refined, but please, drop the arms. I am a girl of only 14 years, my guards will not be so stupid to attack, are smaller in number and in addition, they have not eaten today. And she smiled.

Elise smiles when she sees her sister coming towards her. She puts her arms around her sisters neck and gives her a kiss too. When Marie-Thérèse picked her up she even had a much better view, she turned her head around and looked to the guards who escorted the other girl out.
What would she had done what made her sister so mad? she must had been very naught. But then her sister takes her to the trone and she forgets about the girl.

And how have you been?

I've been in Arundel Castle and have played a lot with the staff there but is would be much better if you were there too.

Elise looks to the trone again, where she was sitting on and looked at her sister with a smile on her face

AM I now the Queen? Very Happy

She straightened her back and looked into the room like it was from her, then she started laughing.

Oduan looked amazed how a girl steped out of the crowd and claimed to be the Princess of Spain. Then he saw how her Majesty the Queen got her escorted out of the Hall. And then jsut to fullfill the mornign with more surprises the Queen's younger sister made entrance into the Hall. Seeming that the Queen may have more important matters to attend the Duke asked permision, for him and his brother, to leave.

Your Most Gratious Majesty, may we retire now? he said before turning to the little child and adding If Your royal higness approve , of course...

Elise looks to the man speeking to her (oduan) and she honestly thought he was wearing strange clothes. They didn't look like the other noblemen she was used to see so therefore she didn't expect them to be noble actually. The other posibility seemed to her that they were servants who just wore strange clothings, that was the most logical explanation.
She giggles when he calls her 'your royal higness', like she was the Queen.

Yes, a cookie.
Don't you know a cookie?

Elise looks not understanding to the man, afteral who didn't knew what a cookie was? The looks on her face ware pure and it was obvious she didn't intend fooling around with him. Ofcourse if she had known he was a Duke she would never had asked it.

Your Royal Higness, I'm afraid that I don't know where can a cookie be found in this great palace of Whitehall. He said with soft voice Those important, and delicious, matters are far above from the competences of a simple Marshall, as I am. But if your Royal Highness is not able to found a cookie in Whitehall I will be honored to offer one at my own residence. Just ask your servants to guide you to the mannor of the Duke of Medina las Torres, Oduan de Altuna, who, by chance, I am.

He vowed with a smile and looked to the smiling Most Gratious Majesty
