With abated breath Fleury listens to the vows she has to take and answers each time in a clear voice.

Do you reject the devil and all rebellion against the Lord as Saint George did?

Do you repent of the sins that separate us from the Lord and neighbor as Saint George did?

After she has taken her last vow she again looks up to the viccar and waits for him to speak.

After she spook the vows, Roberto laid his hand on her head and spoke.

IN NOMINE PATRIS, ET FILII, ET SPIRITUS SANCTI.
I, Roberto, baptise you Fleury, in the name of our most Sacred Church of Saint George.
May almighty Lord who has given you the desire to follow the Holy Pascal Lamb give you the strength to continue in the way.

He Sprinkles some holy water on Fleury's head.

Now let us state the creed together as people of faith.

We believe in one Lord,
the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is seen and unseen.

We believe in the Pascal Lamb,
the only Son of the Lord,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,

Fleury was deeply moved when she felt the blessed water over her head. Tears came to her eyes. After the viccar spoke his words she followed him in prayer.

Thank you very much for this beautiful ceremony.

Roberto saw the emotion in the woman's eyes, when she thanked him for the ceremony.

But don't thank me, thank the Lord, for he choose us to be saved.

Isabella went to the church, and waited 'till the ceremony of Fleury was done.
She entered, and saw that Fleury was happy when she was babtised.
For a few seconds she stared at Fleury, she really seems to look familiar.

When she was absolutely sure Fleury's ceremony was done, she went to Roberto.
When she stood before him, she first watched down at the floor, and then her eyes looked up to him.
She looked in his beautiful eyes, but there was a little fear in hers.
It was the first time she really spook to someone.
She raised her voice, and said.

Euhm, Roberto was it? Right.
Well, if it's possible for me, I wanted to be babtised.
I made my choice, and I really want to live for the Lord.

Isabella watched at Fleury, and watched back at Roberto.
She blushed a little.

Well she is really happy, Fleury, and I wanted to live like you two, and be blessed by the holy Lord.
That really would be great to me, if I can be like you, Fleury, and all the other babtised citizens too.

She smiled at Roberto, and nodded to Fleury. There was still a red color on her cheeks, and her eyes were hopeful.

Right after the batism ceremony of Fleury was over, another young and beautiful woman came to him and asked to be babtized.
Roberto looked at her, and just for a little moment he regretted that he made the choice of becomming a vicar.
He dedicated his life to the Lord, but that didn,t make him blind.
The woman was a bit shy also, and that made her even more beautifull.
Roberto tried to calm her with his soothing voice.

Welcome in the house of the Lord, my lady.
If you seek redemption, you have come to the right place.
You just have witnessed what the salvation means to lady Fleury.
Happiness, Joy, and the love of the Lord.

Roberto made an invating gesture with his hand.

Isabella saw how Roberto looked at her, and immediately there came up a strong red colour at her cheeks.
She shaked her head for a moment, watching at the floor. 'Did he saw that?', she wondered.
When Roberto said something to her, she was very impressed by his calm voice.
She almost melted.

She nodded, and watched Roberto in his eyes.

Isabella kept staring at Roberto, and suddenly she remembered that she even hasn't introduced herself.

I'm sorry, but I even haven't said my own name. There was another blush appearing on her cheeks.
My name is Isabella. I came all by myself to London, to start a whole new life her.
I really want to join a family here, then I don't get the idea I'm on my own.

Roberto was pleased to hear that yet another new citizen wanted to be babtized. He gave her his broathest smile.

Well, lady Isabella....

and I don't live here that long, also.

Then Roberto made a gesture to Isabella to follow him to the Babtism chapel.

Isabella smiled a little shy at Roberto.
It makes her very comfortable when he speaks to her.

Roberto saw the surprise in Isabella's eyes. It was always a joy to make someone happy with the unexpected. So with a cheerfull voice he spoke to her....

Father Roberto walked with great joy to the baptismal font. The young lady followed him.

Before this woman is to be baptized, let we, who have already entered the Divine Grace recite together the Holy Creed:

(any who have already received baptism are welcome to join in.)

After he had sung the Creed, he Looked at the young woman before him. Father Roberto asked in a serious tone

She has come here to ask for forgiveness of her sins, to accept the Divine Grace, and to enter into our Holy Communion through baptism.
As is spoken by the apostle St. Matthew in his gospel;

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

Now it is time for you to speak your vows before those gathered and before the Lord.
Listen carefully an answer the following questions seperately and honestly.

Isabella followed Roberto to the front of the church, and she smiled at him, when he really is going to babtise her.
It was the first time fot her, when she heard the holy creed, and looked around.
The church was really big, and gorgeous. She really loved the story's which she saw in the colorfull stained glass.
When the creed was finished, she mumbled 'Amen' with the rest.

At finishing the creed, Roberto said something, and Isabella listened carefully.

I present to this congregation Isabella.

There she blushed again.

Luckily she remembered the words.

After the creed, Isabella looked thankful at Roberto.
Was it done now?

After singing the Creed together, Roberto saw the wondering look on Isabella's face. Stil standing in front of her, he took her hand and congratulate her.

Congratulations, dear Isabella.
Welcome in God's family.
I hope you'll find your home in this church and will visit it as often as you can.

When the creed was done, and Roberto congratulate her, Isabella gave him a hug.
She blushed, that should probably be a bit unusual in the church, but so happy was she.
Ans Roberto was the coolest viccar she ever met. Oké, maybe he was the first one too.

Euhm, sorry.
Thank you for babtising me, it means a lot to me.
I really come back, to visit the church, I'll promis.

Isabella nodded at Roberto, and went outside the church.
She waved at him, and dissapeared outside...

When Isabella hugged him, Roberto was a bit flabbergasted, for he did not know if this was aprropriate for a vicar. But what the heck......
So he hugged her back. Making people happy, that was what counts, and nothing else.
When Isabella left the church, Roberto waved back and her.
There he was, alone again.
Wondering who would be next...........

Gvu entered in the church. He felt very strange in that big building, he hadn't been there before. The light was strange: it seems to be mystic. He gazed at the floor, trying to find an answer on what to do next.

Gvu had herd rumors about this place and now he wanted to be babtized...but he was only a humble farmer..."perhaps i need to know writing or reeding?" thougt Gvu. He was scared about it. His parents did't tech him both of them.
When he had send a letter to Priest, he had needed the help from a friend. When the friend had read the reply letter, Gvu had understood that he needed to come in the church...but now he was here, he did't know what he could do next.

Vicar Roberto was busy behind the altar, when he so a man entering the church. The man had a humble appearence and seemed to be impressed by the greatness of the building.
Roberto walked up to him and ask in a friendly way.....

Welcome to the House of the Lord.
My name is Roberto.
I'm the vicar in this church.
Can I help you with anything, my dear friend?

Gvu saw a person walking in front of him. "Ok, I'm ready...i have to talk with him...who is he? Is he the Pope? Is he the Priest? Is he the person who send me a reply letter?" thought Gvu. He didn't know anything about the church and the people inside...and so the person in front of him could be anyone. "The vicar? Who is the vicar?" so many questions without answers were in his mind.

When Roberto heard the name of the man, he remembered the letter he recieved.

What i have to do? Is it dangeorus?
Well, don't know so much about our religion...that is why i want to learn.
I want to understand the word of the God, and i hope this is the first step...

Doning something dangerous......?

No, not at all.

Our faith is all about love, understanding and helping other people, without asking something in return.
There is nothing dangerous about that is there.

But actually there is one thing before we can start.

For being babtized, you should have a Godmother or father.
Do you know anyone here in London you will do this for you?
He or she has to be already babtized....

Well... I'm new of this town... I don't know many people here...
Not yet... I hope I will know someone more in some time... I'm so sorry....
Is this a problem?
If yes, could you give a suggestion about some people who could be a Godmother or father?

Well, it hasn't been very busy, lately here.
So that's a bit of a problem.
But maybe the Mayor will do this for you.
So, we'll wait a little while.
If nobody comes to the church on time, then maybe I can do it.
Although this would be a bit strange.......
